After nearly 40 years of ecumenical ministry in the Copper Harbor area while holding services in the community building, on May 12, 2010 ground was broke and the current chapel structure was built. Since that time worship has occurred in the chapel every Sunday, year round. We are currently celebrating 10 years of mission and ministry in our chapel. The faith community at Shepherd of the Sea continues to vision for ministry needs in the future. Presently they are in the process of developing and approving plans for an addition to the chapel which will serve as a multi purpose room to provide a better environment for fellowship activites of all kinds. It is the hope that this new addition will be used by other faith communities and organizations for meetings and events. Keep posted for further news.
